BMW diagnosis like cracking the Enigma code

Seems BMW are make their OBD very hard to decipher unless you have the Enigma like code cracker located at your local dealer.

Local garage came up with a blank re DSC problem. Now got to enter the plate glass emporium where ze decoder is kept.

OBD won't diagnose anything other than engine faults; DSC disgnosis will require a BMW specific system.
