T350 self adhesive number plate (front)

I have noticed that a few T350s have self adhesive plates on the front and like the look of it. My 05 car has a black boss which I do not like. As I have just bought a private reg it would be an ideal time to change over to self adhesive. Has anyone who has done this any advice please? I also need to know how to affix a picture to these topics, I am stuck. Thanks Donald

First you need to find someone to host the images for you (I use photobucket - free and easy to use), or if you have your own website you can host your own.

Once the pics are hosted, you need to link to them in the thread, with [img]<url to the picture>[/img].

Photobucket can generate this code for you - IIRC on the page showing the picture look in the bottom right-hand corner and you will see 4 or 5 textboxes - copy the code from the 'Forums' box and paste between the [img] and [/img] tags.

Just do a search on the net for sticker makers local to your area, some of them will do number plates.

A local body shop will give you the plugs to fill the holes in the body work, get a small pot of paint made, paint the plugs and then stick the new plate on top.

I got a sticker plate made up by my local sign company, never put it on as I'm still not sure about the look of it?

You can bend the plate round and so get rid of the awful black brick that is often found (pic on my profile). Personally I think the self adhesive ones look awful sat on the bonnet.

I think on the bonnet would look awful but my slightly undersize one between the intake scoops looks fine.

Just for info, whatever your choice of plate they need to be installed in a vertical plane to be legal, so stuck on the bonnet might not just look aweful!

Well I fitted the self adhesive one in same place as original, only problem is that with the aluminium layer for reflectivity there are some small folds on edges, I had it put on with heat by car body sprayer.
