Have been on a back to back test drive today at Hawthorns in the Tuscan and Tamora sun was shining and the roof was down

Very different cars to drive but the Tuscan does it for me, looks and performance are fantastic.

The Tamora was very good but just seemed to be missing something?? has anyone else driven them back to back and whats your verdict?

I've driven both, but not back to back.

I think like all TVRs, each one has unique appeal that suits some people not others. I loved the Tamora, it felt right for me. The Tuscan was outrageously fast and is better looking but didn't do it for me in the same way. And then a Cerbera is completely different again... ...and then there's my old S...

I had several goes in a Tuscan, because my dealer thought the Tamora would never get built, and whilst the drive train was great, it left me a bit cold. It was at that point I decided to hang on and wait for my Tamora, and boy, was that the right thing to do! It's horses for courses, as usual.

Well Lee,

It's funny because I did the same and came to a totally different conclusion. I did like the Tuscan's looks but hated the "steamship"dash layout and the lack of a proper rev counter. I also thought the Tamora handled like no other TVR and if you couldn't tell the difference then I am surprised. All round the interior, handling and simpler roof mechanism
(compared to the Tuscan) swung it for me to the Tamora. As for the Tuscan having 40bhp more, I'm not sure that 40 bhp is worth the extra £12,000!!!

I love all TVR's though and would like to think one day I'll have a Tuscan, but for now the Tamora is the one for me and I pick it up tomorrow morning.... yipeeeee!!!
