Of the Saturdays....

The Comic relief single by the Saturdays is a cover of the Classic "I just cant get enough" by Depeche Mode. Its chirpy and 'pop' and totally irreverant to the original - and all the better for it....

And the band...? Well i cant get enough. Such a sweet bunch. I thought girl bands had a rule that at least one had to be a 'minger with talent' and that the pretty ones were just glorified dancers....? Well I cant fault them.

Crap version of a great song.

A totally constructed "pop band" by numbers - black girl, check. Oriental, check. Blonde, check. etc.

Video was crap too.

They are easy on the eye of course, but that is what they are designed to be.

Just in my opinion of course...

They were on a cooking show last Saturday. They were far more attractive with the TV muted

Its a comic relief cover version FFS, its not designed to be anything other than poppy. I know its a classic gay anthem, but I think they've covered it in the correct manner. Nothing worse than someone trying to make a classic 'better than the original.

Utter, utter crap.

And FFS if folk want to see half naked girls, why don't they just look at porn? Nothing to do with music what-so-ever.

Other than that, it was average smile

WTF? Are you a teenage girl? As that's the only social group I can see who would think this utter pop-drivel st is better than the Depeche Mode version, which is arguably one of the greatest records to emerge from the 1980s.

I like it.

I like The Saturdays, and I like this cover.

I liked The Saturdays before. And I liked Frankie Sandford before that.

I am not a paedophile.

I like Girls Aloud too.

Thanks.

Where did I say it was better? I specifically said it was irreverant (look uo the word - cheeky, impertinent, toungue in cheek - flippant). They haven't tried to make a better version, they've made a cheeky and impertinant pop 'charity' cover. You've missed the point if you think I said it was better, because I never did. I said their effort was better for doing it this way rather than trying to improve on a classic. You cant improve on what DM did and they havent tried to.

Now i consider myself to have quite high standards when it comes to women, but to say they are "decidedly average" to look at is, imho ludacris.

I'm interested to find out what you find attractive!?

The best thing the Saturdays could do for Comic Relief would be to completely lezz out.

Now THAT I'd pay for.
