Leicester? any meets/members?

living in lecister for work atm, just moved from Reading.

just wondered if there are any members/meets local?

btw I drive a Glacier White R26

I am local. The main meet in Leicestershire where PH'rs turn up is Ashby Foleville on the second tuesday of the month. This really dosent kick off until April when the clocks go forward.

If you don't mind a bit of a drive there a few ofus that meet up 1st Tuesday of the month nr Matlock.
In summer it is combined with a classic car night

welcome. I'm from Leicester as well, but shamefully I dont get along to many meetings. Its a great City, and very useful for Donington, mallory, Bruntingthorpe etc etc. And the road to Bruntingthorpe is great, too

There are lots of small meets, Ashby Folville is really good.

TVRCC are meeting at Hose on Sunday. The Brant at Groby has weekly Americana meets, Bulls Head at leicester Forest west has bikes, as does the Victoria at Coalville. The Durham Ox at Six Hills sees about 400 bikes on Tuesday nights.

Then, there's small pub ones at Kilby, Stoughton, Rearsby and other villages. Classic Car mag has details of these. I can't remember the days though.

Well, it was a bit wet but there were a fair number there

I think the meeting place is changing to the Red Lodge at Nether Broughton from next month.

Went for a random drive today and followed signs for Malloy park (thinking, i wonder what that is?)

I am so happy I live this close to what looks like a good track.

was a track day today with like 5x old bmw's, 2 s2000's and one very fast orange saxo.


anyone on here got any track time booked at Malloy soon?


BTW I live central lecister near the market, only been here two weeks but seems nice, Highcross is good and a few nice bars ect.

There's also Donnington nearby. Not been to Mallory for years, last time I was in a Formula Ford 2000 I think. The following may also be of interest as it involves an event where last year we had 400+ TVRs in one place

Ashby Foleville is fantastic, have been going to this over the summers of the last few years, great drive from my place too!
I'm a local too, doesn't seem to be many of us from Leicestershire on here though!

We did have a Leicesteshire meet a couple of years ago near Loughbrough. Prehaps we should try another one.
