Fuses maybe?.
I think there's a control box in the boot as well, give that a
with the largest implement to hand!!! On second thoughts don't do that.
Unlikly, but both dip filaments may have blown, one may have gone recently and you've not noticed, and now the other one has followed suit, as I say unlikly, but its been known to happen.
Do you know if your dim dip works, sidelights on, and then put ignition on, lights should go to a reduced level dip pattern.
Hope this helps

Yep, one of those days, no dip beam for me tonight
either and a change of fuse didn't do the trick.

Take a look at the Control box on top of the petrol tank in the boot. There are a number of them find the one marked Head lights. You will likely find that the connector is Fried. I don't think that the connector can handle the 10A required for the dipped lamps. If you have high intensity head lamps then the problem is magnified. I had the same issue last winter, I have seen a couple of other threads noting the same problem. I replaced the offending connections with 6mm spades as the control box was OK. It has been fine ever since.
Hope this helps

Just got my car back from Offord after having the reflectors done, and full beam ok, side lights ok, main beam drivers side doesn't come on! Noticed that the black and red cable on the switch box in the boot is a poor connection. Could this be the problem? If so, can I crimp a connector on this wire without disconnecting the battery?
