Yes, much more fun!! Like you said the baby seat would ruin the whole effect!! "Hey look at my gorgeous flashy sports car in opalescent baby blue, Oh excuse the mothercare cow-print baby seat and mind the dirty nappy sacks in the passenger footwell" ......... Nah - doesnt sound right does it? However, "Hold open that door whilst my tall stunning brunette friend climbs into the passenger seat next to me in order to drive(most skillfully-in stig-like fashion) us to an exclusive wine bar in the West of London town whilst everybody is staring at my beautiful blond hair and HUGE .........exhaust pipe!!" mmmm........ better?

Cow-print baby seat?! Nah, what you want is the super-flash TVR leather seat - very nice indeed! The dirty nappies go in the bin in the Ladies, and the rest of the changing bag goes in the boot.

See? You can have it all!!

I love driving around in my chimaera - but it is really great when driving with a girly friend.

I always think when driving with hubby as passenger that people think 'look at that nice man he's letting his wife drive' .... little do they know - he has to get permission from me

Getting a baby out of a TVR turns all the other young mums at the local baby group into green eyed monsters by all accounts

On the other hand, I was considering the purchase of a Cerb with baby on the way. I changed my mind with the following, new man,etc........

Look at that car! Awww isn't that cute Daddy's taken poppet out for a ride with the top down. Hee must be a real man in touch with his feelings, etc, etc.

2 babe magnets! car and cute babies.

Disclaimer: Louise, if you're reading this it's hypothetical only. Anyway, you know I'm not like that

I turned up to an antenatal group in the Griff one day, and went in to find the others taking bets on what kind of Eurobox I'd swap it for once Junior arrived.

They weren't too surprised to hear we went for a Cerbie.

We're three weeks off our first baby arriving. I rebelled against everyone telling me I'd have to be sensible now I was gonna be a dad and got my Chim about three months ago. Wondered about putting a baby seat in but I worry the ride would just encourage puking from the aforementioned new arrival!

No puking induced so far.

She does look a little alarmed when the roof is off though!

Apparently our little bundle (due 4.5 weeks) kicks like mad in the Chim. I reckon it's excitement at Daddy's car, my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

a lot of lads at work call my chimaera a women's/hairdresser car, and the more i think of it the chimaera is the most "hairdresser-like" car in the TVR range.
