I've just purchase a nice new DVLA registration number for my 111R and am wondering where I could get some quality plates? Any recommendations on suppliers, format etc would be appreciated. I don't mind paying extra for quality etc....

I used 4plates.co.uk a couple of years ago for my 111S.Plates came quickly but needed a little sanding on the corners as a little rough. I had smaller custom sized plates but with legal sized lettering - just be aware that you may need a legal set for an MOT

www.fanyplates.com is what Ive used for the last 6 years, always had a 3/4 fronts too since 2002 and >100K miles with no issues with the law - with a legal , correctly spaced font, a 3/4 plate on an ELise looks spot on rather than the giant standard sized one smile

Too right - definitely don't go full size plate. You don't realise how awful they look till MOT day. I've had no problems with the law either, just don't go for fancy font or anything that's gonna attract too much attention and you should be fine.
