Looking at my first 8v integrale and I need some pointers to look at.

My main concenr is that it hasn't got the "ricaro" seats I have seen in the 16v but what look like the HF turbo seats. How do I tell it isn't a converted HF Turbo?

What differentiates the 165hp engine from the 185hp engine?

By the way it is one of the original RHD converted vehicles

The 8valve engine is probaly more reliabe than the 16v.. one obvious thing to check is that its a 4x4!! and not a replica grale
seems odd its got non standard seats and RHD!!! I'd avoid it! There is a nice black 16v just listed here today for just over 5k maybe a better option

Don't buy a RHD...

The steering is one of the best things about an integrale.. RHD conversions use a slower rack..

Some 8V cars were delivered without the Recaro seats. Also, check the front suspension top mounts under the bonnet. The top bearing/nut should not be in the centre of the hole, but nearer the windscreen.

Bigger turbo, different engine internals.

That would probably be a Mike Spence or John Whalley conversion. But it's always best to go for LHD, as the Fiat Regatta steering rack on the RHD cars is rather pants.

Holier than the pope and been stood for a considerable time. I reckon £2k to fix so I shall look at a better option.
