Been out and about this morning in the Tuscan having it great time and he's running absolutely spot on. Then from nowhere I get a warning saying 'EFI Fault'. I get this message about a dozen times on the 20 mile run home. No noticeable drop in performance (although I was taking it easy), all the water, oil, electrics readings fine. Nothing seems wrong

Checked the manual and my copy of the fault code meanings and it doesn't tell me anything.

What does it mean?

The EFI fault indication tells you that something has occurred.
If it shows more than once, it doesnt mean that the fault is perminant.
For example, I had a very flat battery which registered as an EFI fault.
It kept comming up until I had it reset regardless that the battery had been recharged.

The EFI fault can be identified before it is reset.
Hopefully nothing of any great importance.
Ie. damp as mentioned.
Good luck.

Thanks So Called. Managed to find a few threads and it seems that thankfully it's nothing to worry about. Strange though as I hadn't washed the car and the battery was flat about a month ago and I got no warning then. I'll reset it today and hopefully it'll stop warning me.

rofl I was only doing that for Sam's benefit. Was it louder than 5 elephants? wink Oh OK, if I'm being honest I couldn't wait to get away! The warning came on an hour or so after I left yours. Saw Trigger and guess what... he's talking about coming to Le Mans, yeah right how many times have we heard that one?

BTW, got a great price from Pete to spray the door and mirror. Will be dropping it off to be done in a couple of weeks

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Does Trigger know that Wingnut is going?
Could be fun.

Are you getting your lid painted too?

Sam was very impressed by your car, even if he did pass a chicken, when you fired it up. Loader than a heard of elephants mate, let alone 5!
