Vmax today

Courtesy of Total Vauxhall, I was at RAF Woodbridge today with a couple of other modified Vauxhalls. Distance available was 1 mile of the total runway. From a standing start she pulled 125mph at the quarter mile, 160mph at the half mile and 190mph at the mile mark.

Inlet temps were a problem though so will have to get that larger intercooler before Vmax Adrenaline....

I'll be snapping @ VMAX Adrenaline & I'm due to speak to Total Vauxhall next week so maybe they'd like some Monaro coverage from that event too.....

why not ditch vauxhall and give monfish and all them other guys who actually no how to work on these cars a bit of advertising just a suggestion

Total Vauxhall are part of Future Publishing not Vauxhall - yes they have many ties to people inside VX, but the magazine is stand-alone from the manufacturer other than the fact it's all about VX/Opel etc

Too slow for my liking but I am impatient. Rogers doing a great job Engines nearly done, body bits underway, once the engine`s been dyno`d it goes in and the rest of the bitty bits get glued on (or wolloped with a hammer) then its suspension, exhaust, steering, diff and new wheels then if there`s time, the aero work.... so nearly finished

Yeah things get simmered in the fishtank, no boiling or burning stuff there. The wait is always worth while though, even if sometimes it seems to take an eternity

I'm looking forward to my first visit to them. As soon as they get my volume buttons there booking me in. I'm gonna try and have a look at the other cars in there if i'm allowed
