IVA/ Mirrors

I have read a government summary stating that ever car will have to have 2 external mirrors and 1 internal mirror under the new IVA regs.I've searched and searched for an alternative view but cannot find one . The new manual is on www.direct.gov.uk but I cannot find it .What is the definative answer?

Interior mirror. I cant see a problem with that at all....a rear window to go with it however is another matter

The IVA manual section 8 says.
Nearside and offside mirrors must be fitted.
Interior mirror unless it would provide no rearward vision.

I guess they changed the rules, with my spyder they wanted a rear view mirror, so with a can-am they may also want one. GTR I guess you cant see behind, but there used to be a rule you had to have one regardless. I bought a stick-on cheapo one and just stuck it to the dashboard and passed. As I was driving away I took it off. Rules is rules!
