Chassis question
Discussion
Hi, At the moment I'm trying to estimate what it's going to cost to restore my '98 Cerbera. I'm wondering what it would cost to get my outriggers replaced on both sides by a reputable TVR specialist? The chassis of course would be taken to the specialist completely bare, so there would be no other work involved other than cutting the original outriggers off and replacing with new.
Has anyone else had this done recently, and could anyone give me an indication of cost for this job?
Thanks for your time.

If you're outriggers are shot, I'd be very wary of the condition of the centre rails near the exhaust too...
QQC YHM.
totaly agree, if you ll be spending a couple of grand on outriggers you may as well lift the body and inspect the whole car, as the centre rails will definately need at least some sort of treatmentQQC YHM.

I've had outriggers fully replaced on both sides of a Chim at Offords with the body on, easily done and both they and others (Sportmotive) do it for £1500-£2000. Don't be too worried, just go and have a chat, its a straight forward job.
Of course check the centre chassis rails, but mine were fine and in good condition on a '98.
