Is anyone using one?
Never mind your HSDPA, 3G and 99999999 mega pixel cameras - its all about software that doesnt crash and a phone you can rely on.
I am forced to use the above with its b
ks 3g, HS whatsit and its windows GPS BS 7.6 ghrrd mhz crap.
But, for the weekend, i just picked this up for £20...

Its amazing, it doesnt freeze, when i make a call it does it, when i text it does it. No confusing bluetooth, just as you see it.
Is anyone else using a phone that was made before the turn of the century?

I had one like that aswell, But it was starnge flip painted colour. Gold/green flip.
Some sort of LTD Edition, Good fone though.
Its the 8890 which is similar to the 8850 but has a pull out aerial for use in America - won't work on Orange or T-Mobile. In the world of quad band phones, imagine this with single band, or dual band maybe? Some sort of LTD Edition, Good fone though.
Apparently people paid hundreds for this when it was released. It has a monochrome screen, no bluetooth, monophonic ringtones, doesnt have a camera, no mp3s, literally nothing.
Happy days!
it is official... it has no technology on it at all

I'm currently using a Nokia 6310 because my current phone broke and my new one is due tomorrow. It's rubbish. Sound quality on calls is awful and it heats my ear very uncomfortably. In fact I've just remembered I have a Motorola F3 which I got for festivals which has very good sound quality and is even more basic than your offering. It's also very slim in the pocket and looks pretty cool. Just need to find it now.
