Help required again,

Came to bolt the non powered steering rack back onto the 350i chassis today and I'm missing a mounting bracket - the one nearest to the steering column end. I have the rubber bush - just the steel work lost. Does anyone out there know where I can get a replacement or is at a matter of making one up from scratch. Also noticed that one of the gaitors isnt in the best of shape. As I have to change both track rod ends I guess its worth replacing the gaitors too. Does anyone know what they are off or where its possible to get new ones.

Thanks for your help

Cheers Shaun

Shaun

I may have a couple of the brackets in my spares box's! I will have a look during the week and dig them out if you want them.
Also what age is your car i e chassis num as some early cars used a different bracket/locating system.

Andy,

Car is 1987 on the D plate. I'll have to dig out the chassis number. The bracket needs spacing on the mounting holes of 95mm,

Thanks for your offer of help

Cheers
