Canon EOS 350D Flashgun?????
Discussion
The two main Canon flashguns are the 430EX II and the 580EX II that cost about £180 and £350 respectively. You'll need the 580 if you want a 360 degree rotatable head. A couple of other differences are that the 580 is more powerful and that it can be used as a wireless master whereas the 430 can only be used as a slave. Sigma and Metz also make flashguns that work with ETTL (the automatic flash metering system on the camera). Alternatively, look at older Canon flashes on the used market; it needs to be one suffixed with "EX" for it to work with ETTL.

Get a Cobra for 10 quid, you will waste so much time faffing that you'll miss loads of shots and get royally pee'd off with it and forever wish you went with the 430ex but on the plus side it has a bounce head. Its manual but they have guides on the back that make it a snap

I have a 430EX II and it only rotates 270 degrees. It doesn't point in the directions between 3 o'clock and 6 o'clock. Maybe they changed the design during production?
Interesting, I will check it out later!
