I want to buy a piano

I used to have a lovely old babygrand however my parents have decided they want to keep it.

So how much do I need to save to buy a piano - secondhand upright or babygrand. Does not have to be fantastic quality - just good playable thing.

Where to look also.

Don't know if this will help but worth checking. My sister wanted one a while ago so her husband went around and found one at the local church they did not want, gave them a reasonable donation and arranged to take it away quality not perfect but decent enough to learn on. Might be worth a ring round to see if anyone is stuck with one.
