My memory is very sketchy on this but does anyone remember that scray urban myth about the couple who drive into the woods and they hear a knocking sound on teh roof of the car or something.... they end up running away from teh car and teh man is saying 'dont look back' but I think she looks back and there is some chap on the roof of the car banging a severed head on teh roof (the head of someone they know ?)

Im sure this is a version of a story about some guy who was dressing up as a woman and attacking other women in a car park that was used in Gloucester docks.

There was one about a road in Devon on Dartmoor i think it was, where a hairy hand comes through the window of the car, grabs the steering wheel & swerves the car off the road.

ah yes, but that's more of a ghost story than an urban myth ... anyway, they aren't a myth, as they were caught on camera by the BBC:

There's the one about waking up after a night out with a crudely stiched wound in your side and a missing kidney.

I remember one that I've heard over and over again. It's always centres around a large shopping centre (Meadowhall is the one I usually hear) and a child going missing. The security guards search the place for the child and find them with a man and woman who are shaving the childs head in order to disguise it. I even saw this story published in an editorial of a local village magazine - how could someone not think it strange that no mainstream media picked up the story I don't know!

Ah yes. Let this little story warn you all about the dangers of that happening...

Thing is that Car Park by Glos docks is not only next to the Docks, Gloucester Crown Court, Gloucester Prison & a Police station but is also overlooked by a very busy road and surrounding buildings.

So probably the safest place to do some molesting.

Have you done a lot of recon (UAV?) to form an opinion of the 'safest place to do some molesting'.

Do you camp or just run around and take your chances?

wink

Yep, the Hairy Hands of Postbridge.

Know the story from a very early age, grew up not far from it, I still would not drive over the bridge late at night.
