Sagaris buyers guide

Hi all
I am possibly looking at taking the plunge into TVR ownership but I'd like to do a bit of research first on the Sagaris. Is there any good buyers guides online anywhere or can anyone give me a list of a few things I should check for. Also the car I am looking at has 16,000 miles on the clock. Is there any major servicing work that should be done between 15-20k miles and how often are the service intervals.
Finally does anyone have any tips/info on driving and maintance? How long to warm the car up for and what temp the car should get to before opening it up etc as I think I read an older post (which I can't find) that outlined some general driving procedures.

There is loads on here about warming up advice so I think a quick search should help you.
The car should be serviced every 6,000 miles or every year which ever first. Each 12,000 miles is its major service. There has been a number of threads on servicing recently so I would recomend a search again. I think you started a post on the Green one at Racing Green, they will not buy a car that does not have a full documented service history. They changed my diff and I rate them highly so you will not go wrong there and they will go through what should have been done to the car. You will find it hard not to be impressed with Racing green.

The clutch is an important thing to look out for on a Sagaris. Mine had a new one fitted at 18k miles and I know of a few cars that have had them much sooner than that. They also need to have had the correct clutch fitted by a garage that know what they are doing!
Otherwise its just the scheduled service and making sure the previous owner/s has respected the engine. Good luck as they are a great car and I miss mine since selling up.
