They seem to have a good reputation with the 4x4 guys.

What is is it with the initials JE and Rover v8's. Has John Eales got anything to do with the firm I quoted?

I think J.E. Engineering was founded by John Eales but he moved on to form J.E. Developments. I had a J.E. Engineering 4.5 conversion in my old TVR Wedge & it was a fantastic engine. My engine was comissioned by the previous owner back in the 90's but it was still in very clean condition & producing 310 ft/lbs of torque. It would stay with Griff 500's all day long. Wish I'd kept it now. yes
