Chimps brighter than chavs

We've all witnessed chavs wandering around aimlessly. Sometimes picking something up off the ground and lobbing it at someone or something.

Well it appears that chimps employ the kind of forward planning your average yob is simply not cranially equipped to execute.

BBC News said:

A male chimpanzee in a Swedish zoo planned hundreds of stone-throwing attacks on zoo visitors, according to researchers.

Keepers at Furuvik Zoo found that the chimp collected and stored stones that he would later use as missiles.

Further, the chimp learned to recognise how and when parts of his concrete enclosure could be pulled apart to fashion further projectiles.

I read that article yesterday, and I can't decide whether I now give the chimp grudging respect, or think he is just a bloody mean-spirited and badly behaved hairy yob.
