Hi guys, I need to replace my headlights, what's the best way to remove them, can I do it from the access hole in the inner arch or do I go in from under the bonnet ...

Needless to say I haven't had a good look yet !

thanks Matt

Not sure about the S2 or Exige, but with the S1 you can easily do it by putting the wheel on full lock and pulling back the wheel arch liner - a torch may be helpful to locate the 3 holding nuts. You just release them and the whole unit slides back.

Very easy but fiddly. It will take more time than you imagine but well do-able.

You may find that the brackets which secure the headlights to the body comes unstuck - the steel brackets tend to rust. Need to get some goop to restick mine before it comes out of hibernation again.

Have a good look at the lens patterns before you remove them too, it's easy to get them rotated at the wrong angle.

Oh, and buy the replacements that come with sidelights, as the originals will probably not work after you've taken it apart and reassembled it .

S2 is 3 bolts holding the lense cover on.It is possible with the wheel on, but much easier with it off.No need to touch the inner arch.
