Because no-one wants to try his mental cooking, or because of the current economic mess we are in?

Quite the opposite - its got a 3 month wait for a table for plebs like us!

Its been closed for a week or two because of some reports that his dinners have become ill - they are just not sure why, or even if its linked to The Fat Duck.

As long as they are wood pigeon, not feral pigeon you'll be fine.

Wasn't as impressed with last nights offerings as last weeks. Meat fruit looked vile, the bull ball made me want to heave, pigeon pie didn't look too hot either. What is the point of a pie that you only eat the filling of? Historically accurate it may be, a good idea it certainly isn't. Thought the edible tableware was quite cool though.

For a man so educated you've evidently gone mad.

The Mock Turtle Soup last week was quite simply a work of genius.
