I wouldn't have it instead of the Monaro. Col wants one and i think its a bargain. If we bought one brand new it would cost 36K. This one has over 8K in extras for 25K. I know its an LS2 as apposed to the new one being LS3 but i think its a good buy. I would be keeping the Ro

If you're having it as well as the Monaro (madmadmadmad) then go for it! Just imagine looking out your window and seeing those two side by side. bouncecloud9

Its nice but its no s2000 so it wont handle or have the top down for high street crusing.

If you hold off for a few months it will be sub 18k. Are you going to sell the Naziwaggon??

I've not been that keen on the VXR8 but I wouldn't hesitate in having that one. In that colour with that spec it looks bloody awesome.

That one looks smokin' hot Mel, do it if you can!! Unless you're planning on throwing lots of cash and mods at it, the LS2 will make no odds when you're getting such a fab deal.

Mel, at the risk of putting the damper on things don't forget this car is possibly two years old and the good old "Roof Tilers" are doing standard brand new ones for 26K. Alternatively, the same place has a black 07 model circa 17000 miles that you could do a cracking deal on. Trust me.

Hi Mel. I think if the finances work, do it. Col gets what he wants and you don't have to worry in future, it would be 100% yours.

No issues with the LS2, people are over paying for the LS3 and LS2' can make good power and torque if you want them to. cool

Hmmm Mel, I can see your problem.

Give the old man what he wants, no, it's the car I'm on about!
Problem is, it's supercharged. You're no good with the spanners, so you can't take it off and fit it to the 'ro when he's not looking - big problem......you know that you'll want one!

BUY HIM THE CAR. TWO WILL BE GREAT!

Well I paid £32.5K for my Carbon from Picador 4 months ago and this car has pretty much everything mine has (sc, switchable exhaust, 20" alloys, sc, looks like lowered springs) and has less miles. It might have maybe ~90HP less, but I bet most of that difference is boost on the sc. I assume this car must be running 6psi pulley wheel vs 9psi mine's running.

Even if you found a really cheap standard VXR8 for say £21-22K, it would cost you a lot more than the £26K less any bartering you can do to add all those components onto a cheapo VXR8.

If you have the money and are willing to barter a bit, it has to be a no brainer...you supposedly get the full warranty as its running 6psi or could just laugh in the face of everyone's warranty issues and say stuff it and ask Roger to change to a 9psi pulley for more HP!!

Be great to see you guys with a Monaro AND a VXR8 - though I think that's remarkably greedy you lucky bucensoreders!!

AND you get some of the original bits to sell on ebay and recover even more money!!
