OK, so Work has decided to reshuffle folks around in the Manufacturing offices...partitions taken down..a number of the junior managers offices taken down and them moved into the open plan space ...organized...and so on.
Management has then turned to us and asked what folks would like(within reason),
group decision was for some plant life/greenery.
Got the nod and we're asked to come up with a list of what we want confused

No Green fingered folks in the office....so we need some suggestions for hardy plants, that require minimal attention and improve the working space.
OK PH what you got for us??........pictures would be handybiggrin

Oh and needless to say ..management looking for cheap stuff rolleyes

Ficus trees. Easy to maintain and look quite bright.

Ficus are very good - either the smaller leaved variety or the big "rubber plant" type. Aspidistras are called the cast iron plant for a reason too (and its not because of the metal content). Also try Dracaena (dragon plant). We had one that was hardly ever watered, regularly fried next to a radiator, and frozen next to a door, and the damn thing just kept growing.
