Morning all,

Like a lot of women, my wife is a big fan of all things Tiffany (not the 80's pop star).
She's previously bought jewellery from the Las Vegas and New York stores - all good.
It's her birthday soon and I wanted to order from the Tiffany website.

Google has revealed sites such as http://www.tiffanystore.co.uk/ and http://www.londontiffany.co.uk/ offering discount Tiffany jewellery. Has anybody bought anything from these sites? Is it, as I suspect, cheap silver plated copies from Hong Kong?

Thanks
Lee.

My wife likes it too, but the trick is to never mention it on PH. The detractors will be along soon.

I can assure you, without a shadow of a doubt, that these websites are in no way whatsoever affiliated with Tiffany & Co so beloved by your dear wife.

What you will be buying there will be a copy, the quality if which may be good, or ay be absolute crap, but one thing it will never be is the real thing.

I would say if buying the real thing is too exensive then better to go for another brand which is within budget than passing of forgeries to your wife as the real thing smile

Thanks for the replies. As I thought,it does sound dodgy. I'll avoid those sites. Tiffany website it is in!
I've got no problem paying the Tiffany (over)prices, but like most sane people, if I can buy the same item cheaper elsewhere I will.

Cheers.

I quite like Tiffany stuff - and I like art deco. We have a couple of genuine Tiffany lamps at home.

Who are the detractors mentioned earlier?
