I'm looking to get my seats retrimmed and I'm pretty sure I'm going to go the Bell & Colvill route. However before I commit myself I have just one concern - my body colour is Ardent Red and I want to be sure the new red leather seat centres and headrest logos are going to be a similar shade, otherwise its going to look awful. I understand the trimshop do four shades of red and Bell & Colvill tell me the nearest shade to Ardent is going to be scarlet red. So, I'd be grateful to hear if anyone has had experience of this or indeed any pearls of wisdom you may have on the subject.

Can't comment but the trim shop were VERY helpful at matching the correct shade of Blue alcantara on my S1 Exige. Mel Broome (I think) at the Lotus Trim Shop is always very helpful and will know for sure which shade is which. I ended up ordering my alcantara through B&C and they were very helpful as always smile

Give Gwen at Zodiac Car Trimming Ltd a call on 01603 897339 and discuss your requirements with her.

Gwen is ex Lotus and may have done your seats the first time around! she has just re trimmed the steering wheel for my S1 type 49 and Im well chuffed cloud9

Prices are also very reasonable

Hopefully B&C will have colour charts and I'm sure the trimshop must do the four different shades with body colours in mind - it would just put my mind at rest if anyone here has introduced a nicely matched red leather. I've actually now come across a 111R in the classifieds with exactly what I want to do -
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/885662.htm It's in a dealer, anyone know the previous owner? It looks a pretty good colour match.
