Hi all.

I'm holding a Hypercar party this Saturday evening in London but unfortunately I've been let down at the last minute by a couple of cars (A Zonda, Koenigsegg and Vanquish) and need to find replacements ASAP.

I'm fairly sure that advertising rules on PH prevent me from saying where and who's involved, but the reward I can offer, for borrowing your car for a static display for 3 hours, is £500 worth of credits towards supercar hire from a certain well known hire club. Additionally, you obviously have free access to the event and to the afterparty at an exclusive Mayfair private members club.

Cars MUST be top level hypercars - so LP640 is fine, but Gallardo is not. That should give you the idea.

I'd be PARTICULARLY keen to get a Zonda in, or something obscure like a Bugatti EB110. Another Enzo would be fine, as would a McLaren F1 or SLR, an F40, an F50, or a Koenigsegg, or a Mosler, Aston Vanquish or DBS, a Carrera GT would be great.

In anticipation of certain responses, I already know Shoebag, Mike Rob and TBops, and i've got a Diablo 6.0 and a Murci Roadster coming (but no LP640).

Can anyone help?
07833, ten, thirty-eight, thirty-nine or e-mail me through my profile.

Many, many thanks,

Jay

Reasonable point - it's borderline, based on it's original value I guess as opposed to it's performance figures. It's certainly more aspirational than the DB7 it joined in the Aston line up.

I'd also look at Caparo, or Gumpert if anyone knows of one?

I was wondering how Ecurie25 were going to get a load of 'hypercars'

If it wouldn't cost to get in there I'd be tempted to pop along, hey ho...

Thanks, unfortunately they need to be the kind of cars a hire clubs can't really offer, it's nothing against the G. By all means come along anyway though as a guest?

Message me for details, or I suppose if you have a facebook account you could get on it here - http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=56791402335

Have you thought about contacting Caparo direct as they are based in Basingstoke.

I would offer you the F40 as well but it now needs 4 to 6 weeks of work doing frown. Tell you more on saturday - the joys of 'classic' car ownership!

I'd say a McLaren F1 would be fine.

When I saw the invite email, I did think it was strange that the organisers hadn't asked in any of the obvious places or aksed anybody I knew

It WAS all fully booked up and confirmed without needing to ask publicly - but dropouts at this short notice are difficult to replace, hence the public call. I've got good leads and expect equivalent replacements to confirm today. Of course even if they don't there's still a stack of serious kit signed up wink

Thanks all.

Pretty happy with what I've found.

Especially the McLaren F1 smile

This guy's got access to one or two toys. Maybe he could help you out of if you contact him?

Sounds like a good bash.

I agree on one level - it's a bit ....... ghey.....

But I can perfectly clearly see the reason why someone might feel the need to distinguish between a 400bhp £100,000 Ferrari and a 660bhp £900,000 Ferrari.

The very fact that you have to include the price of said Ferraris demonstrates the point that it's about distinguishing wealth than the cars themselves. One has 260bhp more that the other, nuff said, they shouldn't need bracketing according to cost. All IMO of course, anyway sorry to interrupt your thread chaps...
