I'm looking at buying a 355 in the near future and I was just wondering what is the speaker quality like? I have a Bose system in my current car, so will I notice a massive difference?

I know exactly what you mean. Got the same, Tubi with decat. Apart from the occaision bit of Matt Monroe, 'On Days Like These' (start of Italian Job) then the CD play is kept off for that wonderful Orchestra I'm carrying around with me.

I upgraded the head unit and the speakers. Still sounds pretty crap, but TBH, I can't hear much over the Capristo Decat anyway...

Its horses for courses. The stereo in the 355 is rubbish. If I want to listen to music I take the barge. If I want to hear a different form of musical stimulation the 355 comes out to play.

Upgraded mine with an Alpine head unit, speakers and very small sub that fit behind the seats (removable).

All went in without looking out of place and sounded fine. Didn't cost the earth either (4-500 quid IIRC).

Not sure if they make them any more (bought mine ages ago).
