I seem to remember that you'd hoped that it would be ready last weekend?

I'm now hoping it will be this weekend! Only been 3 1/2 months - I've almost forgotten what she looks like.

I spoke with Joe at Castle last week who confirmed the engine was now in, rad due to be changed to an uprated ally one and then the usual road testing/shake downs. Fingers crossed anyway it will be ready on Saturday and driven down to the Herts & Beds meet on Sunday.

Will do - though to be fair the Diesel Audi A4 they've lent me for the duration has been very much appreciated with the recent weather. Just glad this didn't happen during the summer.

Not sure - I think that there's a Cambs meet as well - if I do go to one then I ought to pop along there really, especially as I haven't managed one yet!

Yes she is now back and currently tucked up in the garage suckling on the accumate.
Feel really good to have her back and I've done 300 of the 500 mile running in already. Can't wait until I can take her over 3.5 and really open her up.
I've got a couple of small fibreglass cracks to sort out - 1 on the rear valance that looks like a car park ding and also on the front clam just forward of the front of the bonnet where it looks as if someone has leant onto the weak point cracking the GRP on each side. Nothing major but annoying to me.
I'm taking her up to Matt on the 4th for a full once over and inspection just so I know all is good with her.

Simon - can't wait until Good Friday for you to return the favour and take me out in the Aston!

Could do evenings or weekends - whichever suits you really - even lunchtimes if you're based in Cambridge during the week - any excuse to get out and about

Saturdays are best for me as Sundays are the only day my wife & I get together.
