Enterprise Inns - Anyone got any info?

Does anyone on PH have any info on the current state of Enterprise Inns? I heard a rumour they are in trouble. Any info would be very useful as i'm in the process of thinking about purchasing a pub lease.

I have to give my two-penneth here and say you have to be bloody sure that the place is a fking goldmine, IMHO, before going leasehold in this environment. Feel free to PM me if you'd like a chat about it.

Good advice. I should have added feel free to PM me as well. Landlord - are you with Enterprise as well?

No mate. "Fortunately" I'm freehold. Purely down to having spoken with a few ex-leaseholders (Punch etc.) who did a good job in scaring me off! I was *very* close to being one though (again, Punch, not Enterprise).

It certainly is mate and not helped by Enterprise fleecing us at every opportunity. Touch wood we're doing ok at the moment but that's only because we're in Central London. I hope all's well with yours and the recession hasn't / doesn't affect trade
