Headlamp chrome rings

Can anyone tell me if mini chrome headlight rings fit an S? Now that is the inner ring that holds the headlamp bowl in place not the outer trim ring.

I had a spare one for my old TR6 - fits perfectly. Got it from Rimmer Bros. or Moss Europe (can't remember which) but not that pricey.

It has a small tang fitted which keeps it in place. The old one just took some gentle persuasion with a screwdriver to come off.

Mini's and literally hundreds of other older cars, 7" round headlamps were used by nearly every manufacturer until "trendy" rectangular units started to appear on Mk1 Escorts (that later went back to round)and various other cars of that era.

I bought a new pair of 7" chrome rims off Ebay thinking this was the only size made but when offered up to my old rims they are about 1/4" too small didn't think to measure mine as thought they were all standard sizes the new ones do measure 7" mine are just a bit bigger. The TR6 sounds more like what I removed from my car. Aljen
