How can I find out exactly what spec a vehicle is, ie. is it a sport or just i.
I know I can ring BMW with the vin number, but they didn't exactly fill me with cofidence with their answers, they said that the vehicle had the sports package, is this the same as actually being a sport.

Oh and if above answer a bit brief in reponse to question try this lot
The definitive list for the Sports package in the UK was :
1. Sports alloys (V-spoke style 63 5 spoke 10 J x 19 ") with extra wide tyres 255/50 R10 front & 285/45 R19 rears.
2. 3 spoke sports steering wheel (as above) multi function.
3. Sports seats, (electric front seats with driver memory).
4. Sport suspension setting
5. Anthracite headlining
6. Clear indicator lenses ( though still have orange bulbs and edges of reflectors)
7. De- chroming
8. Titanium Line Interior trim, ( dark or light poplar zero cost option if selected by first purchaser)
9. Black chrome tailpipes, (certainly on the 4.4is)
Be aware easiset way to spot a faked sport is the steering wheel as MFSW expensive to change from 4 spoke to 3 spoke if buying parts at dalers and now cars older tbh not worth the profit from faking one IMO.
