How much to change to 17" wheels?

Still looking for a Cooper but not many around with 17" wheels so was wondering about the cost of replacing them for the Cooper S style 17s. Cheers

I wouldn't bother to be honest. It only harms the ride quality. I ve owned a Mini One on 16 inch alloys and now have a Cooper S on 17 inch alloys and the difference in ride is astounding. Also the 17s tend to tramline more.

Back-on-topic - I have not got a clue how much to change - might be worth looking on ebay to see what they are going for....

I think official wheels are about £160 a piece from the Mini dealer.

Mind you, I was looking at downsizing to 16" not upsizing.

When I had my r56 s I binned the 17s and went down to 16s, the difference was amazing - car felt nicer, handled better and stopped tramlining. Unfortunetly the rest of the car was utter rubbish, easily the worse car I have ever owned and I got shot.

Still got the wheels though if anyone is interested, black and silver and look v cool!
