Where can I buy socks that don't leave a trail of black fluff all over my carpets? Is there a guaranteed fluff-free sock out there?

(and I'm not buying beige socks to match the carpets).

Wash them first?

I don't have that trouble, just them wearing out on the york stone and slate flooring.

Why not have a sock shaped tattoo on each foot thus saving you bother of ever buying socks again?

Fine for walking around the house, but the socks have to come off at some time and that releases a tonne of sock fluff all over the place.

I have taken to now removing the socks whilst in the shower to minimise fluff deposits elsewhere. Feels like most peculiar behaviour though.

because you could never wear flip flops again, you'd look like you had frostbite!

Ah, sock fluff. A sure sign of foot AIDS I'm afraid.

That IS peculiar behaviour. Perhaps you're a bit OCD? You need to get a negative air pressure (relative the the rest of your house) area in your vestibule so that you can remove fluffy clothing in this area only, keeping fluff/threads and other fabric detritus isolated in one place.

Or change your carpet to fluff coloured ones?
