Importing a Kit Car from the USA

As the the title says I would like to bring over a Ferrari replica based on a 80's Corvette but not sure what would be invloved to register it over here. I have imported two other american cars in the past and that was straght forward but not so sure about a Kit Car. Has any one done this? if so what would be invloved.

I'd imagine the same procedure would be involved as with any other import - you'll have to do the paperwork for tax/duty and then if you want to make it road legal an SVA.
