Charity request

I would ideally like to post in the P&P regarding a charity for whom I am running the London Marathon.

Appreciate the need not to bombard members with this type of request, but I wondered if there were any site rules I should be aware of ?

You probably can post what you're planning in P&P, may get stickied?
But a quick email to Garlick (he's busy jangling his keys at the moment )will let you know.

Unfortunately, though these charity threads are for worthy causes we do not allow them as probably half the forum have some association with a charity or are doing something sponsored and we do not want the forums to be full of these types of threads.

Hope you understand our position.

My mistake... I was getting confused last night after too much wine, I meant request for sponsorship for events! Charity threads are on a case by case basis which are best emailed to Garlick.

The OP has already had an answer from Garlick on this one!
