polarbert and I were discussing the merits of hooning when there's no one around (to be bothered by the sight of warrens brakes on fire wink) and the subject of a dawn raid was raised...

so.

who's in?

somewhere over derbyshire, cat & fiddle to macc then back down the snake pass?

some time in may, i'd suggest smile

i'm thinking of reaching the mid point (possibly greasy spoon in macc) at half 6 in the morning smile

thoughts?

of course, we could reach the mid point at say 6am and that would allow time for a quick flask of coffee and to get back over the snake pass while it remains clear smile

I might be interested, but the route is about as original as the EVO triangle, which is also extremely crap and over rated.

I'm not happy unless I'm moaning or grumbling.

Then shirely doing the same old run along some AMAZING roads will make you moan? The irony is delicious. laugh

Yeh me too. Although I don't know what greasy spoon is, nor do I know where or what Macc is. Macclesfield at a guess.

It should be a good route in the wee small hours without all the Sunday drivers / caravanners!

Good idea now the mornings are getting lighter. I often go out at first light on a Sunday for a few hours around the peaks. The roads can also be very quiet up there on a Saturday evening.

This would give me an excuse to get the car out of the garage - Total mileage so far this year less than 100 boxedin

Is the route agreeable with most?

I think in the wee hours we'll be able to experience the greatness without the pain in the arse of overtaking all the cocks doing 40mph regardless smile

Could be tempted, really need to use Noisy more, and a few miles hooning is always worth while mileage. driving
