potential dawn raid, anyone?
Discussion
polarbert and I were discussing the merits of hooning when there's no one around (to be bothered by the sight of warrens brakes on fire
) and the subject of a dawn raid was raised...
so.
who's in?
somewhere over derbyshire, cat & fiddle to macc then back down the snake pass?
some time in may, i'd suggest

I'm in. Make it nice and early.
i'm thinking of reaching the mid point (possibly greasy spoon in macc) at half 6 in the morning

thoughts?
of course, we could reach the mid point at say 6am and that would allow time for a quick flask of coffee and to get back over the snake pass while it remains clear

Good idea now the mornings are getting lighter. I often go out at first light on a Sunday for a few hours around the peaks. The roads can also be very quiet up there on a Saturday evening.
This would give me an excuse to get the car out of the garage - Total mileage so far this year less than 100
