I have a set of rear shocks but they are for a 111R. Is that any use?

Hi , Yes bilstein , but the spring rates on the Exige S shocks are significantly stiffer than the Elise , even the 111R.
But they would all be swappable.

not sure you would want the stiffer set up on the back and not on the front , you would have a very oversteary machine !

They would come at a decent discount to new , but I would have thought you would be better off with the whole set

I will go away & look up the price

£534 + vat is the new price for the set of 4
you can have them for 60% of that (ie £320.40 + Vat)

As I paid £1135 + Vat for my Nitrons , this sounds like a bargain

PM me if this is of interest

Cheers

The shocks from a Toyota engined Elise/Exige won't fit a K Series engined car as they have different rear subframes.

Yeah Tom has a K-series engined s2 elise so all of the exige/111r offers would be no good frown
