Cyst in the lower eyelid

Quite a common problem apparently, and one I find myself with. I've seen my GP and been referred to the eye hospital - and will be having this removed soon.

I understand the cyst is basically removed with a small spoon under local anesthetic, which sounds unpleasant but not unduly anything to worry about.

Anyone undergone this, what was it like afterwards?
