Which Optima Battery

So which Optima battery have others chosen.

The RedTop S 4.2 is almost exactly the same size as the 072 battery I have at present but that is a very tight squeeze.

Does anybody use the RedTop S3.7 which would fit a lot easier but have slightly less starting power (but still the same as the 072)?

Hi,

last week I put a Red Top battery 42 8002-250 in my 4.2 Cerbera. It fits perfect and the car runs great. I ordered the battery via Ebay (onlinebatteries) The Price was 125,-- pounds. More or less the same price as for a nomal battery here in Germany.

I recently fitted an Odyssey PC1230 (from Devon 4X4) to my 4.2 it's actually smaller than an 072 and slips in very easily. It does however have about 300 more cranking amps than an 072 (850) and costs a bit more, but not a lot more than a Red Top.
