Rolex Daytona - Bond Street Today

If you are on this forum I'd just like to say thanks.

I was browsing for a new stainless Daytona in Bond St today, as one does!!. Just as I was coming out of Watches of Switzerland (no stainless ones in stock, surprise, surprise) I was approached by a guy who had overheard my conversation with the salesperson. He advised me of a pre-owned dealer in Burlington Arcade that have at least 2 used models in stock (previously owned by he and his colleague). Too busy to visit today but will try to get there early next week. Anyone know if they are competitively priced?

They've been sitting in Burlington arcade for many, many months due to one factor - inflated price. Saw a few there last year when down with the missus, again, not tempted due to the likely post traumatic anal invasion feelings that would follow the purchase.

A couple of dealers on Bond St have them in stock including David Duggan's in the Burlington Arcade but they want in excess of £7000 for a BNIB one, I tried to do a deal on one last year and had no joy and that was when list price was £4850. I eventually got one privately and was well chuffed, especially as the RRP has now gone stupid. it is a beautiful watch though.
