What shape is your head? Any what are you using at present, is that comfortable? All the different manufacturers have a different shaped helmet and some fit better than others, but its a personal thing, you need to try some on. When I did, I found the Sparco and Bells fitted best, while the Simpson ones gave me a immense discomfort just wearing them for 30seconds due to the pressure they placed on my forehead.

The only way to know for sure is to try in a shop.

Well I've currently got a Simpson Even though its new, its out of date.
Not had a problem with any helmets apart from finding one that's small enough.

Well I've currently got a Simpson Even though its new, its out of date.
Not had a problem with any helmets apart from finding one that's small enough.

lee. you really need to try and buy the one that fits. commonly helmets come in 3 shell sizes and at demon theives I found myself trying medium and large on, some mediums were too large and some larges were too small. the fits do make a difference.

I ended up with the sparco pro jet (medium) which for me was a much more comfortable fit than other far more expensive helmets. It is an open face helmet though which suits me (closed car)

Take a look at Arai - they make a gaaeter range of shell sizes. Most other maufactureres make only a few and pack with foam.

Unless youre looking for a motorsport lid, why not try your local motorcycle dealer - they'll be more competitive if you can find something you like I'm sure.
