ultima seat harness

search did not give any info, I am looking for a seat harness, 4 point will do and it
should be comfortable and easy to close.
Here in Germany there is a company called Schroth, but also heard about willians ?
Have no idea what is important never had a car with a sport harness only know the regular ones,
so have no clue what to look for.

I use Sabelt (as did Michael Schumacher).
The UK branch http://www.sabelt.co.uk/ know the dimensions as he has made up a number of sets for UK Ultima owners. I think the belts are made up in Italy so the factory there, or your German dealer, may be able to identify the sizes.
Mine are four straps with a turn buckle release. I also have the padded shoulder straps which are nice as you can take them of and put them in the washing machine.

Please be very careful in selecting a 4 point seatbelt configuration. In a frontal crash, the lap belt can ride up above the hip towards the abdominal area. (This is because the shoulder harnesses attaches to the centre of the lap belt.) If this happens, severe internal injuries could result. Five of or six point harnesses will reduce this tendency. The purpose of the additional straps is to ensure that the lap belt remains down low over the hip. (Also, if you examine stock type 3 point seatbelts, you can see how the lap belt would remain over the hip in a frontal crash.)
Indeed, Schroth does claim that their system reduces this tendency. I would carefully examine all the fine print about the applicability of the claim to be sure that you are comfortable with it. It may also be a good idea to call them to discuss your particular application to be sure that their claim will still apply.
I also suggest to pay attention to the web replacement schedule as all seatbelt webbing ages and require periodic replacement to remain effective. (Even if they look like they are in perfect condition.) It seems to me that a four point system would be more sensitive to web aging as it would rely more on the material properties to help control the position of the lap belt in a frontal crash.

a very good point regarding the buckle on 4pt harness`s riding up...
in the fitting instructions for my willans units they gave very clear instructions as to where to position the lap sections eye bolts.. basically they say they should sit over the tops of your thighs and point down rather than over the hips and pointing back..
out of interest does the ultima "spaceframe" have the 7/16unf inserts for these? how do harness`f fit into them??
also how do they go through SVA with them? as i was once told "technically" the buckle type release isn`t MOT compliant???
