Chip #3...WOW!

I just installed Chip #3 in my '90SE. What an incredible improvement! All those annoying things that made the SE difficult to drive (at low speeds) are simply gone now. The car now behaves just as it should when driving among non-Lotus cars.
The idle is much smoother than before and has an overall much better feel. My car ALWAYS had to sit for a minute or two once the key was turned on. Not any more. On a warm engine, I can drive and go without any stalling or hesitation.
Acceleration is nothing short of vicious and aggressive. I can now distinguish the difference in acceleration between my '90SE from my Mercedes S600 coupe and sedan. I about lost control more than once due to the simple fact that I am not use to this much more power.
Extreme care is required when driving with chip #3 installed. The car can get out from under you in just about any gear if you are not careful.
If you are running the old firmware, I can't see a reason why you would be disappointed with this upgrade.
