Just wanted to say a big thanks for the suport we received for Friday nights inaugural meet at the Ace cafe.

I reckon we had about 40 cars in total - the car park was almost full which was way beyond what was expected. For those of you who did come, I hope you had a good evening and liked the venue.
Remember, this is now a monthly event so dont forget same time next month - Friday 5th Dec, lets get a few more !

Special mention to Bobski for helping get so many people along, TonyRec for bringing the 'works' car, Mike ? for the most amazing sideways departure I have ever seen and to nitrous Russ for waking up the locals. Also to all the new faces whos first TVR meet this was.

See you next month.

Ditto - a great thanks for kicking this one off - a "local" meeting for me, at last!

The big sideways exit was Mike in his blue Chim 500, what a masterful performance and piece of car control, down to the roundabout and back again - I havnt giggled like that since I was a boy ! Mike is a regular at the Ace, taking on the hot rods, usually 1st Wednesday of the month.

The nitrous Chim belongs to Russell who is a regular at the local TVRCC meets. It is sooo loud. I beleive his next project will involve some form of military rocket propulsion unit.

As for the photos, mine are hideously bad, so they wont be aired in public, i'll see who else has got any and try and get them posted.
