Hi, my front tyres require replacing and I'm wondering what size you guys are running. They are currently Bridgestone S02 in size 225/35/18 and I'm wondering if any of you have changed from 35 profile to 40 profile and if so what are your experiences. The 35 profile is a bit of a stretch on the rim and is also not very forgiving on uneven road. Should I swap to 40 profile or stick with 35. If I stay with the current size is anybody using Falken FK-452's as this is the one I've shortlisted as the S02's are no longer available. Your thoughts and experiences would be appreciated.
Cheers.

I heard of a few people who changed to 40 profile and they said it was better. Just do a search for '40 profile' on here.
From the thread, I remember some saying it rubbed on the arches a bit, and some said it did'nt. These are hand built cars remember....
When my fronts need replacing, I might try the 40's too.

Hi,
I've just gone from 35 to a 40 profile, looks a bit less stretched, no rubbing on arches even though my car is lowered.

Thanks everbody, think I might try the 40 profile. More choice of tyre in that profile too.
