Hi, decided to strip off the veneer from the dash board and glove box and cover in a leather look vinyl. Maybe not the best job in the world but in my opinion looks ok. What do you guys think?

It looks neat and tidy...nice job. thumbup

My veneers were replaced 3 years ago and are already peeling at the edges, so look grubby.

I fancy Carbon or similar...after the supercharger.

Some pictures of all these dashboards please.

Still going for new wood next week but lighter and deeper grain, like a roller biggrin

I have same challenge! My dash looks like the interior of an Amsterdam brothel. Any advice where I can get a really good job done on the dash?? (I'm thinking brushed aluminium/carbon fibre effect or similar). Any advice gratefully received. Thanks Dave.

Doesn't look to bad as it goes. I've done the same thing but used 1/8 scrim foam and then stretched vinyl into place to give it a nice tight - even feel,

Well, here's my peeling maple dash:

and here's the only type of girly bar I patronise...Philippines...just to keep on topic, you understand.

I'm sure that's my mate in the yellow and green. scratchchin

Yep not actually attached yet as need more velcro !! plus some clear perspex for the light panel on either side and another sticker to remind me what the air is supposed to be doing yikes

Dash is now the same as body - supersonic blue but without the flakes in the laquer

Anyone got a spare ciggie lighter as lost mine, and seeems a strange size frown

Slightly different i know but i thought i may be of some help. I got some silver carbon fibre (with adhesive backing) from Stewarts F1 (STEWARTSF1@aol.com ) and that cost £20 for the whole lot to do my two dash parts on the Chim. He sells it by the square inch i believe and he also does loads of different weaves and colours. He also sent me samples of all of his carbon fibre sheeting before i ordered.

He does have a website as well, but it appears to be down at the moment.

With regards to fitting it cut very easily with a sharp stanley blade.

His services would definately come very highly recommended from me thumbup
