So then, which way round do the Powerflex ones go?

There is the black bush, metal sleeve, the 2 top hat metal parts and a white spacer.

I think it's like this from the rear to the front.

Top hat
Black bush
Metal sleeve through the centre
White bush
Top hat.

Anyone have any ideas?

This one here from Steve Heaths site.

I'm guessing it should be fitted as per this image?

Also, big thumbs up to Steve for supplying the kit, well packed, great deal and arrived promptly! Cheers!

Ridds,

I am trying to fit these at the mo. I think they are right as shown in your pictures. however I am a problem with the original large metal bush. The tophat will not fit inside the large metal sleeve shown in your picture. Steve H is on the case and I think he is making up some metal bushes for me.

I can't do much more on mine until I get these so if you are not too far from Worthing I can help you with yours tomorrow if you want?

Hey Mark. Cheers for the offer but I've managed to do the front right and antiroll bar today and I've got to work tomorrow afternoon. frown

I went with the way that was pictured, although I couldn't use Steve's bolt for that position as it's too long for my car. :lol

Don't you just love how variable these cars are!

Yeah, the thick end to the front.

Oh, and you may have to add spacers (washers) on some of the bolts to get them to fit without hitting off the bodywork.

In case you are wondering about if it's worth the effort ..... it is.

It makes a huge difference to the handling.

I put the thick to the rear. It's in the same place as the thick section of the old rubber bush.

I looked at a picture of mine before posted that to see.

I'll have a look at the car later on ..... and edit the post if necessary.

You have me doubting my eyesight now.

Not just your car mate. I had the same problem with mine.

Yep, had that with my SH kit, and some of the bolts were too short in other areas. rolleyes

Ditto.

Also had to cut the aligning bar in half because even that was too long to get the job done hehe

Right I'm pretty sure it's right way round.

Thick section at the rear (absorbs load under braking)

Thin white section at the front (to keep the spacing between the drag strut and the chassis as the bush flush fits with the drag arm).
