RX-8 Moisture in oil?

I picked up my RX-8 today and am thoughly pleased with it. Pulls beautifully and handles brilliantly. However when I got the car home I thought I would check the oil and just make sure I know where the level was. I found some white substance on the dipstick which alarmed me as certainly wasnt there when I checked before I bought it. The car hadnt been used for a month until I drove it a few days ago at my viewing. Could this just be a case of condensation build up over this time? Would an oil change be recommended or should I just leave it and see how it looks over the next few days? Coolant level is good so I am hoping that its nothing to do with that?

Perfectly normal if it has been left standing or only used on short runs. Mine was the same when I picked it up but a few long runs with plenty of beeps shifted it. If it stays after a few decent thrashings then change the oil.

Perfectly normal on a rotary mate, nothing to worry about!

Normal except in summer, mine had mayo on the dipstick a lot.

I thought there was a fix for this though.

There is a fix for this problem it is a breather pipe that is fitted onto the engine somewhere. Theres more info on this on the owners club somewhere. Sorry I cant be of more help.

To be honest all seems to have disappeared during my driving of it this week which is good, until sever misfire yesterday, so laid up at the garage now

It will disappear if you go for along enough drive to heat the engine and oil up enough that the moisture will evaporate.
